UV curing high-resolution inkjet printers for non-porous surfaces

The United Barcode Systems (UBS) APLINKMR UV2 inkjet system is a UV-curing high-resolution inkjet printer capable of printing onto non-porous surfaces. Text, graphics barcodes and 2D codes onto porous surfaces can all be printed and cured. The OBCS (On Board Curing System) built into the UV2 printhead provides immediate curing of the print. A built-in 5.7" colour touch-screen makes managing printing extremely simple.

Three models are available with 17, 36 and 70mm print heights. Versions are available with inline printhead connection (as shown opposite), 90 degree printhead connection to minimise the system's footprint, downward printing and an umbilical printhead can be used for installation in tight spaces. Print resolutions from 180 x 180 dpi to 180 x 720 dpi are obtained at line speeds up to 60m/min.

Piezoelectric printhead technology is used with oil-based inks for maximum reliability and minimum environmental impact - no solvents or detergents are required

Software options include UBS Code and Codesoft allowing easy access to external databases and ERP systems. Ethernet, USB and WiFi ports ensure the system can be easily interfaced to host systems and printing automated from external devices.
